An exquisite blend of Barbadian and South American rums, barrel aged over oak for a minimum of three to five years, offering a luxurious depth of flavour with subtle bourbon undertones. Gently spiced, with fathoms of umami, alongside fresh top notes and a hint of selected botanicals. Four hand-foraged British seaweeds, including Pepper Dulse, "The Truffle of the Sea", raw Dorset honey, cacao, ginger. The rest remain a secret! Sip over ice and be guided on a complex sensory voyage to the treasures of the deep.
Every bottle supports ocean wellbeing — a portion of profits goes to marine conservation projects.
Customers praised this spiced rum as "smooth" and "delicious" with a unique flavor profile. Many noted it's not overly sweet, with subtle botanicals and honey creating a "salty caramel" taste. Purchased a bottle yesterday at Weymouth seafood festival. Tried a tot last night absolutely lovely some very different tastes to my usual but love it my wife doesn't normally drink rum but she really likes this
Gave it to my son for his birthday he opened it and enjoyed flavour ; he said it very smooth and warming

I originally bought Shanty Spirit for my son in law as a present but my daughter really liked it. This purchase was for my daughter as a present. I expect she will share it . I don’t drink spiced rum personally but they both say it’s really smooth.

Delivery a bit slow by the post office but Rum is very nice

Very nice and flavory. Such a pleasant drink different from other brands also the vodka is a fantastic drink to enjoy another of my favourite ones . I’m glad I visited your distillery which you guys explained how you make both and how to make different drink styles to enjoy. Keep up the good work will definitely keep ordering.

Received as a Christmas present and was a bit apprehensive as I have found other spiced rums to be either too sweet or too floral but the balance of the botanicals and honey is just right giving a slightly dry but light finish. I Will definitely be replacing this bottle!
What a wonderful review - thanks so much Indi, this is eaxctly the positioning we wanted for the rum. Not so sweet as so many spiced rums. We feel the blend of the aged base rums is so wonderful we didnt ant to mask with too heavier spice. Thanks for appreciating it and for the 5 stars!

I bought this rum as a Christmas present for my son and son in law. Both loved it and my daughter who generally doesn’t drink rum helped my son in law finish the bottle, much to his dismay! They both said it was a beautiful spiced rum and I will buy it again for them for a special occasion.

It is a gift for Xmas for a family member so has not been opened. I will provide review once it has been tasted.
I don't drink alcohol myself but buy this for my son & daughter-in-law. So far I have purchased 2 Rum's & 1 Vodka . I am told it is a lovely smooth Rum with a mellow flavour. The Vodka has yet to be sampled!!!

Its a really moreish after dinner drink over a large cube of ice for me - fantastically smooth with a rich flavour and a little sweetness from the honey. Good alternative to a Whisky or Cognac so will remain as a regular in my drinks cupboard from now on!

Wow, what a find. Really a great rum with lots of subtle flavours that complement each other very well. Only drunk it neat so far as it seems a shame to water it down. Will definitely get more.

Great taste, tried with ginger beer and coke, both good. Cocktails sound great. Seem to be consuming it very quickly and it’s not evaporation 🤣
